Festival Videodanza de Puerto Rico™ brings to Puerto Rico the best of international video dance and dance on screen! For 2025 we continue to expand our reach to include screening of VR/360 dance film. We are also keen to receive proposals for hybrid choreographic tech-art under our new strand I.D.E.ALL™ (Immersive Digital Experiences for ALL). We support the work of local established and emergent screen-dance artists through the category CORTOS Y CRIOLLOS™, showcases work by Puerto Rican artists. The strand YO QUIERO BAILAR is exclusively focused on work towards inclusion and visibility of issues of disability and access in a through dance.
We aim to promote uncompromising work that explores synergies with other forms of motion, work that includes bodies that dance forgets and encourage work that explores the future of dance in dialogues with new forms of technology that are redefining the field of participation and access.
Submissions can be of any genre or style or movement practice including but not limited to modern, contemporary, urban, ballroom , jazz, ballet etc. We are looking for the dance that does not exist yet and make it happen!
